Prepared equipment and weighed material:
80gr of venice turpentine in a 250 ml beaker
40gr of Distilled Turpentine in a 100ml beaker
Hotplate placed under fume hood.
Chopsticks for stirring
Gloves (for heat) and thermometer close at hand.
Checked Safety Data Sheets and protocol one more time. Goggles and gloves are on. Ready to roll.

Put Venice Turpentine on hot plate. Setting at 2.
Temperature is 19.6°C
Goal is to reach simmering temperature which should be slightly above 140°C

at 121 °C Heated surprisingly fast!

Steaming. Added the Turpentine Oil and turned off heat.
Removed from hot plate. Final temperature 117°C
